We had planned to do a maternity shoot with Vanessa but Chiara decided to make an early appearance. I did this shoot when she was 10 or so days old.
One of my best things about newborn shoots is seeing the adoration and love of parents for a little being. Thank you guys for letting me into your home to witness this beautiful time.
Ursula and Luke are 2 of the most stoked parents I've seen, it was so gorgeous to witness. Who would blame them with the scrumptious deliciousness of Bella? Our planned beach shoot got well and truly rained out but we still managed to grab a few shots outdoors.
Neil and I were at varsity together, ahem, quite a few years ago. It's so great to see his transformation from a constant lurker at The Green Man to a doting father and husband. His and Vicky's little girl Emma was nearly 6 months old at the time of our shoot and supercute, with so much hair!
Regular blog stalkers will recognise Neil and Jacqui from their wedding nearly two years ago. I love seeing couples who are amazing together become even more amazing together as a family. Jacqui was a beautiful bride and I think even more beautiful as a mother. Nick (aka Tigger) was an amazing model despite being dragged around all over the place.
Our planned beach shoot didn't really suit the dreary and rainy day that Cape Town presented us with - so we rather did a shoot indoors. I thought that feel of the shoot suited some beautiful black and white images, as well as some soft colour. Diego was 4 months old at this shoot and so so cute. How gorgeous are those big eyes?
So the bump from a few weeks back is out! We originally scheduled a shoot for when Isla was due to be a few days old but then she decied to arrive early and then had to spend a bit of time in ICU for water on the lungs - so she was a few weeks old when we got to do the shoot. Lisl is a complete dog lover and these are her 3 babies all together:
Clare, Milly and Leon were out from the UK on holiday and I did a shoot with them at the beautiful guesthouse they were staying at in Stellenbosch. At eight months, Milly is SUPER cute, not really interested in staying in one place and has discovered the joy of sticking out her tongue...
